Britcar
The MSA British Dunlop Endurance Championship, The flagship Championship of Britcar caters for out and out GT cars from Le Mans levels of performance such as Porsche 911 RSR's, Mclaren and Ferrari GT2's, with GTC Ferrari and Porsche Cup cars, down to GT4 cars such as Aston Martin GT4 and Ginetta G50's.
Races are 1.5 hours - with two in a day, with the odd longer race of 4 hours in length, with mandatory pitstops to allow for driver changes. The tyres are all Dunlop. The Championship covers the whole racing season with approximately one race every month.
The Championship visits famous and iconic racing circuits such as Silverstone, Donington and Zandvoort, giving the teams and drivers chance to race at these outstanding venues. The Championship is usually the headline event at race meetings and has support from the Britcar family of races.
FORMULA FORD KENT
Kent engined Formula Ford 1600 continues to be the ideal first step into single-seater racing and the two regional and one national championship that the BRSCC runs plus the numerous circuit championships allow both career minded & 'club' drivers to enjoy their racing in a very competitive but friendly environment.
Formula Ford is the quintessential jewel in the crown of entry-level motorsport and has become a worldwide phenomenon. Tightly defined specifications that rarely change, coupled with restrictions on tuning mean that cars remain competitive and hence in plentiful supply.
The cars in this category of Formula Ford are powered by the famous 1600cc Kent engine and there are different classes for new and older chassis. The Pre 90 class is for cars manufactured up to the end of 1989 while the Post 89 class caters for cars built from 1990 onwards..
PORSCHE CARRERA CUP
The Porsche Carrera Cup GB continues to be a prime support race to the British Touring Car Championship, which guarantees large race day crowds, a great atmosphere and huge media coverage, including seven hours live coverage on ITV4 each race weekend.
With an average race day attendance of 37,000 and a television audience well into the millions, the TOCA race weekends are the largest motorsport events in the UK. The race day attendance coupled with the impressive TV coverage means that the reach continues to grow substantially each year.
