After looking at all the options available for a new Formula Ford 1600 chassis Rob Hall Racing have opted for one of Gavin Rays latest spec Rays.

 

"Gavin’s cars are well proven and well sorted" said Rob "we needed a car that would be straight forward to run and relatively easy to drive for both novice and experienced drivers alike.

 

Our intention is to get to know the car during the rest of the season and run two cars in the 2017 National Championship.

 

We feel confident that we can get the best out of the car and while I will probably do the initial shake down we really want to put someone other than me in the car who has a proven track record of winning. We are looking for a driver who maybe hasn’t got a full budget this season but would like to work with us with the aim of running in the 20016 Festival and Walter Hayes.

 

Kent Formula Ford has been the bedrock of single seater racing since the 1960's and its good to see that once again it is attracting the grids it deserves, giving the opportunity for both new and existing drivers to run in a very competitive national championship at a realistic price.

 

The team will be run out of our workshop at Bromyard and we are all looking forward to passing on the experience we have within the team to our drivers”.
